Main characteristics:

Connection instructions

Terminal 2EDG-5.08-06

    1. Terminal 5 V supply. (Not used when connecting the high voltage unit through the CNC. Used when connecting and adjusting the power transmitted by the high voltage unit to the laser tube through the potentiometer. Voltage 5V current less than 20mA)
    2. TH and TL terminals (High or low power level. The choice of terminal depends on the wiring diagram of the main control board)
    3. The WP terminal is used to connect the cooling system water sensor.
    4. Terminal G ground
    5. Terminal IN for connecting control from the main control board of the equipment (CNC).

Connection methods

    1. When connecting the high voltage unit through the main equipment control board (CNC), you must use the terminal TH (or TL) depending on the connection scheme used on the main control board (CNC), the terminal G, terminal IN to control the power through the main control board (CNC), and make a jumper (short) terminals WP and G or install a water sensor.
    2. To test the high voltage unit: it is necessary to short the terminals TL, WP and G (or short the terminals WP and G, and the terminalsTL and G connect through a switch (switch)), while the middle leg of the potentiometer is connected to the terminal IN, and the other two legs are connected to the terminals 5V and G respectively.
    3. PWM can also be connected via terminal IN, but at the same time, the maximum signal pulse should be no more than 5V, and the frequency should not be higher than 20K. If the signal pulse is less than 5V, turn the knob (variable resistance) clockwise to adjust.

Warnings

    1. It is not intended to control the power of the laser tube through high frequency modulation, as this will greatly affect the service life of the laser tube.
    2. This high voltage block model is compatible with RECI S6-S8 laser tubes. The RECI P16 high voltage unit must be adjusted and used in accordance with the instructions for the high voltage units and laser tubes.
