Product Description
The high voltage unit (HVU) DY20 is designed to ensure the correct operation of the laser emitter in the specified modes.
The unit can work with laser tubes RECI Z/W/S6.8 (130-180W), Lasea F6.8 (130-180W), Yongli A6.8 and other similar ones. Also, having previously lowered the current strength on the BVN, it can be used with laser tubes of lower power: 130 W.
Using a laser tube of lower power, without first lowering the current strength, will lead to its rapid failure.
The block has an aluminum housing that acts as a passive heatsink, removing heat from electronic components. Active cooling is provided by a fan that forces the transformers and electronic components to cool.
The block has two terminals for connection: the first one is a three-pin terminal for connecting the 220 V power supply and grounding, and the second one is a six-pin terminal for connecting control wires.
To adjust the current strength, the block has a variable resistance that can be adjusted. Incorrect current setting may cause premature failure of the laser tube.
From the control controller, a signal is sent to the BVN. Depending on the received signal, the unit supplies the required voltage and current to the laser tube, which leads to the excitation of the gaseous medium and the emission of laser radiation.
The DY20 can be operated without a control system by connecting a variable resistance to the control terminal.
CONNECTION
The power supply unit can work both with the control system and without it.
To connect control systems, TLL-G-IN terminals are used. In some cases, TLH-G-IN terminals are used. A jumper is connected or installed to the P(W)-G terminals if the sensor is connected to the control system.
For the correct functioning of the protection of the DY20 unit, earth must be connected.
